End of the school year is no joke. I remember the meetings, events, late nights… on repeat 😅. Most teachers survived on air and hope this time of year and maybe a coke or coffee for some so called hydration. I know, I know. That’s not hydrating at all! It’s bad y’all.

I get it.

This is your reminder that decluttering doesn’t mean you can’t decorate. It means you consider the purchase with more intention when you do. Is this piece worthy enough to take up space in my home? You’re the landlord. It is your tenant.

Sometimes it really is as simple as shopping your home.

For this Valentine mantle, I:
– printed artwork at Walgreens
– reused a rag garland I DIYed years ago from an old curtain and dyed it with one red + one pink bottle of Rit (diluted for that soft ombré look)
-added colorful but useful candlesticks

Less stuff. More intention.
And still all the seasonal magic. 🤍
