Homemade Frozen Carrot Chews! šŸ„•šŸ¶šŸ¦· Did you know frozen carrots are great for cleaning your dog’s teeth?! Not only are they naturally delicious, but they also help keep your pup cool in the summer and are packed with nutrients—especially when simmered in bone broth. These are a summer staple in our house! Ingredients
- 2Ā lbsĀ whole carrots - 32Ā ozĀ dog-friendly bone broth veggie (I’m using beef broth from @openfarmpet) Instructions 1. Peel and chop the ends off your carrots. 2. Boil in the bone broth for 5 to 10 minutes until tender. Add water if your carrots aren’t fully submerged. 3. Let the carrots dry on a drying rack or parchment paper. 4. Freeze for at least 4 hours in freezer friendly bag. 5. Let your dog enjoy! 6. Store leftovers in the freezer. BTW, leftover broth can be used to soak into their kibble! I soaked & froze in their slow feeders for another fun enrichment meal! šŸ™‚ Use code AYCEARIA for $25 off your first @openfarmpet order! dogenrichment summertreats dogtreats dogdentalchews dogteeth
