Same dough, two ways. I used my classic white bread dough and baked half as a loaf and half as soft dinner rolls. The rolls baked about five minutes less than the loaf and were brushed with butter right out of the oven. This is such an easy way to stretch one recipe for a full Sunday dinner.

Easy weeknight dinner idea that feels cozy and comforting. Tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons is one of my favorites, especially when it starts with the Trader Joe’s boxed tomato soup. I just heat it up on the stove with a little salt and pepper and call it done. Grilled cheese made with fresh homemade sourdough, cooked low and slow in butter until perfectly golden, is the best for dunking. Simple, classic, and always a win.
