As the “low tox” friend for over a decade, I’m spilling the tea. If I were to start over on my NON TOXIC journey (after 10+ years of researching)… here’s what I would swap first!

1.) Laundry Detergent
2.) Swap your plastic Tupperware for GLASS
3.) Dishwasher Detergent
4.) Plastic Utensils for Bamboo! Bamboo is very eco-friendly as well as again it lowers the chemicals from leaching into your food. You could also use stainless steel, but my non toxic pots and pans would scratch if i used stainless steel!
5.) Your cleaning supplies.

Now, this list is not meant to overwhelm you. Again, I’ve already done the research, and now I’m giving it to YOU! Make these simple swaps as you go. You don’t have to invest in each one right here right now.

Don’t let absolute perfection derail you from making these simple swaps. One simple swap at a time. Maybe you’ve run out of your cleaner and you make that swap. Maybe your Tupperware has no lids and you make that swap first.

Building & creating a low tox home does not have to be complicated.

Creating a low / non toxic home? This is for you! Swap out your teflon pots and pans in your kitchen for:
- stainless steel
- ceramic coating
- cast iron

It all comes down to personal preference. I’ve been using my Caraway Pots and Pans since 2021! If you take care of them they will stand the test of time! I’ve also borrowed my friends our place pot and it was really nice too!
