the perfect little pre-dinner cocktail🐝

this honey thyme bee’s knees is perfectly simple enough for a weeknight cocktail that feels sophisticated without the fuss and frills

- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz honey thyme syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and enjoy!

For the honey thyme syrup, I just added 1 oz of hot water to a small bowl with an equal amount of honey. Stir until mixed and add some thyme leaves and let steep for about 10 minutes before using.

batched spicy watermelon margs for four:

- 2 cups fresh or frozen watermelon
- 1 cup tequila
- juice of 2 limes
- 2 oz honey
- sparkling water, to top

Add first four ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass filled with ice and rimmed with tajin and top with sparkling water.

brambles: the perfect summer brunch cocktail🫐

This blueberry bramble is for the ones who love to spend a Sunday at a farmer’s market right before brunch🥂

Blueberry Bramble:

- 1 tbs blueberry jam
- 2 oz gin
- 3/4 oz elderflower liqueur
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 tbs plain yogurt

Add everything to a cocktail shaker and dry shake (no ice) to incorporate, about 10 to 15 seconds.

Add ice and shake again until well chilled and strain into a glass filled with ice. My basil gave off a few flowering blooms so I used that as my garnish.

I’ve been making brambles for years, and my favorite way to make them is to add a little bit of plain yogurt to give an extra creamy consistency!

This basil bourbon smash would be my pick for a hot day on the track!

- 2 oz bourbon
- 1.5 oz lemon juice
- 1.5 oz honey or simple syrup
- 3/4 oz elderflower liqueur
- 5 basil leaves, torn

Add everything to your glass and muddle to combine. Add lots of ice and garnish with a lemon wheel and fresh basil.

next up for strawberry week is the strawberry prosecco margarita! she has all the favorites of the classic margarita with a spring sparkling twist.

for one serving:

- 4 strawberries, stemmed and sliced
- 1/2 oz honey
- 1.5 oz tequila
- 3/4 oz lime juice
- 3/4 oz Cointreau
- chilled Prosecco, to top

Add the first five ingredients to an empty shaker and muddle until strawberries are well broken down.

Dry shake (no ice) to mix before adding ice to the shaker. Shake again and strain into a salt rimmed glass filled with ice. Top with chilled Prosecco and garnish with a strawberry!
