Okkkkkk….. Let’s talk sizing!

The choc coat I’m wearing here is a large. I honestly could have even gone up another size for a more relaxed fit, but if you’re not tall, I wouldn’t size up too much. The fabrication isn’t amazing, but for a wool blend under $300… it is what it is!

The check shirt I have on is a L - although I would’ve preferred an XL for a more oversized look, but it was already sold out 🙈

The faux leather jacket I’m wearing is a size 14 and I LOVE the fit of this one on me. I’m such a fan of an anorak-style coat, and the faux leather gives it a bit of edge. It’s also heavily reduced 🙌🏼 love love!

The brown blazer-style coat is a size 12, then I tried the checked version in a 14, which I definitely preferred. These styles look so much better oversized with a bit of slouch - it gives more off-duty cool and less corporate office vibes.

And finally, the check shirt I’m holding up is a M/L, which would be the size I’d personally go for! Might need to head back and properly try it on 🤌🏼

A visit to @Zara and some jackets that I can happily recommend to you!

First up, this black jacket with the higher neckline and hood - OBSESSED. It honestly looks like it could pass for designer! The sizing is generous too. I’m wearing a small here, and that’s the size I’ll be buying once it’s restocked. I’d say the medium would comfortably suit a size 12–14, especially if you’re on the taller side.

Next was the brown faux leather jacket! I was so happy to finally try the medium, and I absolutely loved the fit on me. I personally think this style looks better slightly less oversized. Just for reference, I’m 5’11 and a true size 10. It’s also so affordable and genuinely one of the best quality faux leather jackets I’ve come across. No wonder it went viral overseas!

The check jacket… wow. It sold out so quickly online, but I’m really hoping they restock it for you all! The sizing is definitely generous - I’m wearing a medium here and it was still plenty roomy on me. That said, I do think I was just a little too tall for the cut. Anyone 175cm and under would look incredible in this!

And lastly, I’ve been eyeing off this quilted jacket for a while now! I definitely don’t need it because I already own something similar, but I still loved trying it on. I’m wearing the XL here because I think jackets like this look best with a more oversized fit. I also love that you can cinch in the waist!

I’ll share all the pairs I tried on (in order) along with sizing, so feel free to holla if you have any questions. Neuw Denim – size 28. Loved these so much—super comfortable denim. Just wish they were a bit longer for this tall girl. Anine Bing – size 28. Anine Bing jeans are great for tall girls, and I find they run very true to size. Aje Denim – size 28. Always super comfortable and great for tall girls. I find they run slightly generous—I could have gone a 27. Rag & Bone – size 28. So comfortable and true to size, just wish they were a fraction longer on me. Rolla’s – size 28. Such a great denim! These are a longer length and perfect for tall girls. Sizing is slightly generous—I could have sized down to a 27. Calvin Klein – size 28. The denim quality felt amazing, just wish they were a bit longer. Coats, trackies & sneakers have basically been my wardrobe staples forever 🤎 A very successful shopping day today… and somehow the wish list just keeps getting longer!

Sizing on items I’m wearing -
Cropped Trench is an XL on me. It was all they had left in store. I would have gone with a large for an oversized look, but I would say it runs true to size.

My trackies that I’m wearing throughout are now on sale and I’m wearing a small. Sizing is super generous! Probably need to be on the taller side to pull them off.

Grey tee is a large, the grey zip-up hoodie is also a large and I’m wearing a 12 in the coat.

Obsessed with all of it!!

Winter is near, and @lululemon have absolutely nailed their outerwear collection this year. Here are a few of the pieces I’m loving most 🤍

Now sizing with the items shown — I’m wearing a 12 in the jacket and a 12 in the white pants. I find Lululemon pants run small, so as a tall size 10, I always feel more comfortable in a 12.

The matching zip-up and pants are both a large and, with this style of pant, the medium would have fit me better — but they didn’t have my size in store.

The black vest is a 12 and the black pants are also a 12. Again, if you’re a tall size 10, I think you’ll feel much more comfortable in a 12. These pants are a must-have! So comfortable and so flattering 🤌🏼

Finally, in the Bouclé jacket I’m wearing an XL — you know I love an oversized fit — but I actually think I’d prefer this one in a closer fit. It’s honestly the cosiest teddy-style jacket I’ve ever tried. 100% recommend!

Oh — and the pants with the Bouclé jacket! I loved the idea of these, but they’re not very tall-girl friendly. The colour options were beautiful though, so if you’re 5’9” and under… you’ll love them!

This AERE haul was such a good one 🤍

For reference, I’m a pretty true size 10 and 180cm tall.

Wearing the Oversized Cotton Henley in a 10 - if you’re on the shorter side, I’d suggest sizing down in this one. Paired with the barrel leg pants in a 10, which run true to size 🫶🏼

Next up, the Check Bomber in a 12 - still true to size, but if you’re taller and want a more relaxed, off-duty feel, sizing up gives it that cooler, less corporate look. Last I checked, sizes were low in this one, so apologies if there’s not many left 🙈

The Rilla Denim Twill Pants are a 10 and fit true to size -such a great option if you love an easy, casual denim.

And the knit set… I think it’s my favourite 🤍 Perfect worn together or styled separately. I sized up to a 12 for a more relaxed fit.

I picked up the black jacket in a size large, which gives me that relaxed fit. I’d say it runs true to size, but if you’re tall, definitely consider sizing up.

For the men’s jacket, I first tried the small and it fit well - but after trying the medium, the extra arm length made it the better option for me. I’d say the small is similar to a women’s 8–10, and the medium more like a 12. Xx

Here I am wearing a size 12 in the bomber jackets and they are already oversized enough - so, I need to exchange for a 10… but which colour?! If you’re 5”9 and under, I’d personally size down in this jacket.

The pants and top that I am wearing are also a 12 and true to size! Exchanging both of them for a 10 also!! The pants are such a staple. Love the contrast white band detail 🙌🏼

The @Zara haul continues!

I’m obsessed with the pink jacket - it would look so fresh styled back with white or light denim. If you love a pop of pink, this is a 10/10 from me. Also heading into next spring… it’s going to be stunning.

The check shirt I’m wearing is a size large, and I’d say it fits more like a 12–14. It’s nicely oversized without being too much. The website lists the tones as grey, but in person it leans more khaki with navy (I think) and white running through it. If these are the colours you’re loving this autumn - I do approve of this! Love that it’s a light flannel fabrication, too!

I’m wearing a size large here and it is quite oversized. I do think a medium would give a more flattering fit in this style one me, as it has a bit of extra bulk, so it looks best worn slightly closer.

I absolutely love these loafers from @davidjones! I love the versatility of being able to fold the back down 🙌🏼 Now sizing - I’m a true US 9 and these are a 40. I have had to send them back and exchange for a 39, as the 40 definitely fits more like a 10 than a 9. Hope that helps! Xx
