Thin, soft, and shockingly warm—these Always Warm Base Layers by Varley are the key to staying toasty without bulk this winter.. The crew neck and half-zip options are sleek enough to wear on their own, and the fit is snug-but-not-too-tight with the kind of stretch that moves with you. Think skiing, snowy dog walks, morning coffee runs, or running errands—these layers work hard with minimal effort.

Sizing note: I’m between an XS and Small, and went with Small in both tops so they’d fit just a bit looser and look great when I want to wear them on their own. If you’re in between sizes, I’d go up on this one.
