I’ve been forced to wear flats following my double bunion surgery and I’m about to undergo a second surgery to remove hardware on right side.

Everyone told me to take a fiber supplement. I resisted. Finally gave in — and within a short time, better regularity, less bloating, and a couple pounds gone.

If you’ve been avoiding shorts because you want a little more coverage — this might be your summer solution.

I know, I know. Capri pants are polarizing. And honestly? Fair. The old school version that hit mid-calf with a wider leg wasn’t doing anyone any favors. It chopped the legs, making them look shorter and stumpier.

But this length? Just below the knee — sometimes called a pedal pusher — is a completely different story. It’s tailored, it’s modern, and it actually flatters your legs.

I wasn’t even going to pack a bikini.

I picked it up before the trip and thought — you’ll never wear it. Threw it in anyway.

Here’s the thing. I’m 51, 4 years post-menopause and my body has changed. I’ve been more self-conscious about my skin, my middle, all of it. And I kept waiting to feel ready.

In Bora Bora I finally said F-it and wore it.

I almost didn’t shoot it either. Fully expected to delete every photo.

When I saw them I actually stopped. I looked... pretty great. That surprised me.

So here are the swimsuits I wore — because maybe you needed to see this today and say F-it too.
