I’ve been forced to wear flats following my double bunion surgery and I’m about to undergo a second surgery to remove hardware on right side.

I DO hope to get back into heels one day soon — but in the meantime, consider me your comfy flat shoe tester!

If you’ve been avoiding shorts because you want a little more coverage — this might be your summer solution.

I know, I know. Capri pants are polarizing. And honestly? Fair. The old school version that hit mid-calf with a wider leg wasn’t doing anyone any favors. It chopped the legs, making them look shorter and stumpier.

But this length? Just below the knee — sometimes called a pedal pusher — is a completely different story. It’s tailored, it’s modern, and it actually flatters your legs.

Think of it as the upgrade your summer wardrobe didn’t know it needed. More coverage than traditional shorts. More polish than Bermudas. And way more styling potential than either.

If you’re anything like me, you love the look of contouring — but you’ve also absolutely botched it...many, many, MANY times. For a while I even gave up entirely.

Here’s what I discovered: it wasn’t me. It was the products.

The right contour stick is basically foolproof. These three are all clean, ideal for mature skin, and I reach for them constantly.

#2 | Victoria Beckham Beauty — slim and precise, ideal for nose contouring or even lips.

#3 | Isamaya — similar to VB, slightly more pigmented. Start light and build — gorgeous results.
