Hey Mamas’🩷 If you’ve been pouring into everyone else all week, this is your reminder: rest is not a reward, it’s a requirement. Here are 3 simple ways to decompress (even with a full schedule): ✨ 1. Schedule a weekly bubble bath (non-negotiable). Warm water helps calm your nervous system, lower cortisol (stress hormone), and signal safety to your body. When your nervous system is regulated, you respond instead of react and that makes you a more patient, present parent. 🌿 2. Create a daily “quiet reset.” 5–10 minutes. No phone. No noise. Just deep breathing or sitting in silence. This helps shift your body out of fight-or-flight and back into balance which means fewer meltdowns (yours and theirs). 🕯️ 3. Do one thing that belongs only to YOU. Reading, skincare, journaling, stretching something that reminds your body you’re more than a mom. When you feel grounded, you show up fuller, calmer, and more connected for your kids. Regulating your nervous system isn’t selfish it’s how you model emotional health for your children. A calm mom creates a calm home 🫶🏽 Save this for later & share with a mama who needs the reminder 🩷 Shop some of my favorites LTKmomlife LTKdayinmylife LTKGiftGuide
