Warm water helps calm your nervous system, lower cortisol (stress hormone), and signal safety to your body. When your nervous system is regulated, you respond instead of react and that makes you a more patient, present parent.

🌿 2. Create a daily “quiet reset.”
5–10 minutes. No phone. No noise. Just deep breathing or sitting in silence. This helps shift your body out of fight-or-flight and back into balance which means fewer meltdowns (yours and theirs).

🕯️ 3. Do one thing that belongs only to YOU.
Reading, skincare, journaling, stretching something that reminds your body you’re more than a mom. When you feel grounded, you show up fuller, calmer, and more connected for your kids.

Regulating your nervous system isn’t selfish it’s how you model emotional health for your children.

Let’s Talk Insecurities 😅
For as long as I can remember I’ve always had big legs and it used to be the thing that I disliked most about my body, I would never wear shorts and I mean NEVER.
I have literally been forcing myself to embrace all these thighs and get comfortable with my body. We only get one, right! So while I’m working on becoming better, I added these pieces to my wardrobe.
These shorts came from Target and I love that they are high waisted and tailored, it gives a more polished look.
