I wish I did this sooner!! If you’re stuck with old carpet you can’t rip up yet, try layering an area rug over it. It instantly warms up the space and makes the carpet way less noticeable. Such a simple fix but it makes a big difference. We rented this house for years before buying it, and we’re not ready to rip up the carpet just yet since we’ll eventually be doing a bigger renovation.
