This was such an easy activity to set up! I made Jello according to the box instructions, added gold coins, little leprechauns, and a pot of gold, then let it set in the fridge overnight.

My toddler had the BEST time digging through the Jello to find all the hidden coins. Sensory play like this is one of our favorite ways to celebrate holidays while building fine motor skills and encouraging open-ended play.

Easy St. Patrick’s Day toddler art ☘️🎨

We made marbled shamrocks using shaving cream and paint and it turned out so cute! I sprayed shaving cream into a bin, added 2 shades of green paint, and lightly swirled it together. Then we pressed our shamrock cutout into the paint and used a scraper to remove the extra shaving cream.

Such a fun sensory + art activity and it was incredibly easy to set up. My toddler loved seeing the marble pattern appear! ☘️✨

I put together little playdoh kits for her class and I’m honestly obsessed with how they turned out.

Chocolate-scented playdough + an empty Valentine’s chocolate box = the sweetest little activity 🤎🍫

We made homemade cocoa playdough and used an empty heart-shaped chocolate box to “make” playdough chocolates. I added a little glitter, heart cookie cutters, and a rolling pin, and she played forever.

It smells amazing, is super soft, and uses ingredients you probably already have at home. Such an easy Valentine’s Day sensory activity for toddlers.

Recipe I used below 👇

Chocolate Playdough Recipe 🍫
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup salt
• ½ cup cocoa powder
• 2 tbsp cream of tartar
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1½ cups boiling water

(Mix dry ingredients, stir in oil + water, knead once cool)

I filled our sensory table with Valentine’s rice, DIY love letters made from cardstock, and color-matching mailboxes (I grabbed those from Target last year, so tried to find some other options for you). We added heart bowls, a flower measuring cup, and tongs for scooping, pouring, and fine motor play.

Valentine’s Roses Art Activity for Toddlers 🌹💌
Looking for an easy Valentine’s craft for toddlers? This DIY rose painting activity is perfect for little hands!

Here’s how we made it:
• Fill a Ziploc bag ¼ full with water & seal
• Push water into one corner & secure with a rubber band
• Dip the bag in a shallow amount of paint
• Stamp onto paper & watch it turn into a beautiful rose 🌹

💡 Tip: Test on scrap paper first — too much paint can cover the rose shape!
Decorate as you like (just don’t judge my leaves 😉)

Easy winter sensory activity for toddlers ❄️🩵
This simple toddler sensory bin is perfect for practicing scooping, pouring, transferring, and fine motor skills. I set this up in about a minute using water, edible glitter, GloPals light-up cubes, plastic snowflakes, and winter pompoms.

On the other side, I added a ladle, strainer, drip cup, and toddler tweezers to encourage open-ended water play and hand-eye coordination. This is such an easy indoor toddler activity for cold winter days and kept my toddler engaged for a long time.

Winter sensory bin for toddlers ❄️

I set up this winter sensory activity using our light box and sensory table to create a simple “igloo” building activity. I used reusable ice cubes and shaving cream so my toddler could stick the pieces together, then added snowflake glitter, blue and white pom poms, and winter animal toys for open-ended play.
