Try these tips to make outfits that are flattering and fashion forward. Balance and oversized top or bottom with a slim shape on the other half. SHOW OFF your waist with a belt. Push up your sleeves to show your wrists. Wear shorts to show the shape of your legs. Avoid 50/50 especially if your top and bottom are both oversized. Oversized layers look the best over a monochromatic column of color. Heels help. The best jean length for all your sandals is one that hovers above your ankle. Find your measurement and shop for jeans online with confidence. Here are 5 straight leg styles (including the two I’m wearing from Mother and Paige ) that are easy to cut/hem if you need to.

TO FIND YOUR INSEAM
1. Use a soft tape measure to get your regular inseam, or distance from your center crotch seam to the ground.
2. Place a rubber band above your ankle
3. Measure from the rubber band to the bottom of your heel.
4. Subtract that number and that’s your magic number.
