My 5-step foolproof creative capsule wardrobe formula —
1. Choose a color story
2. Decide what kid of outfits you want to wear
3. Make A master list of pieces that are part of those kind of outfits
4. Think how you can style your picks multiple ways, like scarf as a belt or a top
5. Narrow you list down to 7-10 pieces that all mix match and layer.

I just found a new version of this gene for $100 less than the original. The style from MOTHER , in this photo, sold out on every website when I first shared it a few years ago. You bought hundreds of until it’s sold out. This is the gene that goes with any shoe and also comes in petite lengths. It was recently restocked in a brighter blue but if you are looking for this faded vintage wash try this look for less. It has all the same fit measurements and it’s even available in petite and tall sizes.

Haute Mama goes to lunch. I quickly changed out of my Spanx sweatsuit to join my sweetheart for lunch today. Ends up we got the early bird special.

Retail Math- I’m 5’4” and wear a size 25 in Premium denim and I’m wearing a size 25 in the look for less. I also tried and liked the looser fit of one size up.
