You want to buy the right containers to organize your craft supplies. The right products help create a system. The wrong ones just add to the clutter.

A Lazy Susan: When it comes to craft supplies, these are a no for me. Markers, crayons, pencils, and scissors are all different sizes, so they rarely look neat or stand up properly. They're also not stackable and tend to create more visual clutter than they solve.

A Craft Cart: Another no. Not only are these large, but they can quickly turn into a rolling pile of clutter. They're hard to keep neat and everything is left out in plain sight, creating even more visual clutter.

Instead, I prefer stackable pencil cases, clear bins, and containers that maximize space while keeping supplies easy to access and easy to put away.

A good system doesn’t create more work – it removes it. The best organizing systems aren’t the ones that look good for a week-they’re the ones that keep working long after you’re finished. A good system removes decisions, reduces maintenance, and makes it easier to keep a space tidy without constantly thinking about it. You don’t just see the results-you can feel them.

Isn't it funny how we remember so many details about our childhood rooms? I remember everything about mine—the colors on the walls, the furniture, and the way it was arranged. We only painted it twice, but I still remember both times. I remember rearranging the furniture, where my desk sat, and all the little details that made the space feel like mine.

Home has a way of staying with us long after we've outgrown the room.

By keeping a donation basket right inside your closet, tossing things in regularly becomes almost automatic. If it doesn’t fit, is it your style anymore, or just isn’t worn, it goes straight in. When the bag is full, just tie it up and drop it off. No donation piles no dreading a huge closet clean out!

If you’re working with a standard closet, it probably has more storage potential than you think. We just need to get a little creative. Use the upper shelf for baskets to hold seasonal items, and add an adjustable second hanging rod below to instantly create more hanging space! These few adjustments can make your closet feel twice as functional.

Just don’t forget the first step-go through it as it comes in, recycle what you don’t need, and only keep what requires action. That way it doesn’t piled up and become overwhelming.
