✨COMMENT “LIGHT” and I’ll send you the link to this beautiful fixture + a few more of my favorites!✨ @urbanambiancesocial We absolutely loved our original light fixtures in the kitchen and dining room, but after living with them for a while, we realized there was just a little too much metal happening overhead. We wanted something softer—something that felt more curated, collected, and personal to our home. So we turned to Urban Ambiance to find the perfect piece. 🤎 This bronze gold pendant from the Lacey Collection was exactly what we were looking for. The finish adds warmth, the shape feels timeless, and it gives the space that collected-over-time feeling we love so much. Sometimes a room doesn’t need a complete makeover… it just needs one thoughtful swap. COMMENT “LIGHT” and I’ll send you the link to this fixture + a few more of my Urban Ambiance favorites! Unpopular opinion: I don’t think every room needs a washable rug.

I have one in my basement and while I LOVE the colors, I’m not a fan of the thin texture. I think washable rugs absolutely have a place—kids’ playrooms, sunrooms, and high-traffic spaces—but for living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, I’d personally choose a more substantial rug.

If you’re worried about kids, dogs, or everyday dirt, look for patterned rugs, deeper neutrals, browns, taupes, or muted colors that can hide a little life while still looking beautiful.

And honestly… our parents weren’t putting washable rugs in every room, and somehow they kept their homes looking good for decades. 😂

Beautiful + practical can absolutely coexist.

These Amazon window treatments made ALL the difference 🤍
This window in our new home is absolutely stunning, so I didn’t want to take away from the view—but I did want the space to feel elevated, cozy, and lived-in. Adding window treatments instantly creates a warmer, more inviting atmosphere, and these Roman shades were the perfect choice. The result? A space that feels intentional, welcoming, and perfectly finished.

🍂 How to decorate for the season—not a holiday.
Comment FALL for all my favorites✨
If you’re ready to bring a little fall into your home without turning every corner into a pumpkin patch, SAVE THIS for your next shopping trip! 🤎

Here are 5 simple ways to layer in the feeling of fall:

1️⃣ Start with moodier textiles
Swap in deeper, richer throw pillows and cozy blankets.

2️⃣ Bring nature’s colors inside
Think earthy, muted tones inspired by the changing landscape. Faux stems make this super easy!

3️⃣ Use what’s growing outside
Trim a few hydrangea stems from the backyard and let them dry naturally for a beautiful seasonal touch.

4️⃣ Layer in seasonal details
Pumpkins, gourds + natural elements add that fall feeling without screaming “holiday.”

5️⃣ Style your surfaces
Don’t forget your mantel, coffee table, dining table + other tabletops. A few seasonal colors and natural elements can completely change the feeling of a space.

And remember… fall isn’t just about what you see. 🍂
It’s what you feel, smell + taste, too. Cozy textures, candles, fresh flowers from the yard… and maybe a loaf of banana bread coming out of the oven. 🤎

The goal? Layer the feeling of the season—not the holiday.

Save this for your next shopping trip & use it as your little fall decorating checklist!

When you just can’t get over the before and after… 🤎✨

This hallway was perfectly fine before, but it just needed a little color, personality, and life! And WOW, what a difference a few thoughtful changes can make.

From the rich Sherwin-Williams paint color to the marble table, textured vase, my favorite magnolia leaves, and a beautiful space to showcase our family photos… this has become one of my favorite little spaces in our home!

Sometimes the best transformations happen in the spaces you weren’t even paying attention to. 🤍

This hallway just needed a little color and a little bit of life… and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! 🤎

I used the most beautiful Sherwin-Williams color to completely transform this space, then added a cute Emperador marble table, a textured vase for a little contrast, and of course, my favorite magnolia leaves. 🌿

This stunning frame also deserved its own space to shine! ✨

What I love most is that this hallway has become such a warm, intimate space to showcase our family photos. Sometimes, it’s those little forgotten spaces in your home that just need a little personality. 🤍

And honestly? I can’t stop looking at it! 😍

A little hallway makeover 🤎

I finally found the moody brown I’ve been looking for—**Griffin by Sherwin-Williams**—and I’m obsessed with how it transformed this space.

Add a hallway runner, a dark Emperador marble table, a Magnolia frame, and my favorite magnolia leaves, and suddenly this little hallway has so much more warmth, texture, and character.

Sometimes all a space needs is the right **paint color + a few thoughtful details.** 🤎

It’s funny… after all the framing, insulation, drywall, mudding, painting, and trim, no one really notices all those building details once the space is finished. 😂

But the little details? Those are what you notice the second you walk in.

That’s why I was so excited to partner with Amerelle to finish our office with their beautiful wall plates and rechargeable lighting accents. The wall plates add that polished finishing touch, while the rechargeable lights were the perfect little table accent as we popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate finally finishing this space. 🥂✨

Because sometimes, it’s the smallest details that make a space feel complete.

My favorite kind of decor? The kind that actually does something. ✨

I added this little brushed gold hook to our laundry room for steaming clothes, and it’s such a simple detail—but it makes the space feel a little more intentional.

I’m a big believer that functional spaces don’t have to feel boring. Pretty, functional accessories can make everyday tasks feel just a little more enjoyable… even laundry. 😉

The finishing touch our eat-in kitchen was missing… ✨

We absolutely loved the chandelier we originally purchased for this space, but after living with it for several months, we realized there was just a little too much metal happening in one room. I wanted to create a softer look while still bringing in more elegance and an elevated feel.

Enter Urban Ambiance for the win. 🤎

This chandelier is absolutely stunning over our dining table, and I am completely obsessed with the quality and luxury it brings to the space. It feels softer, more refined, and adds just the right amount of elegance without competing with the other finishes in the room.

We have already had so many compliments from people seeing it in person, and my husband and I are officially over the moon with it!

We are so happy we found this beautiful option from Urban Ambiance.

Transitioning into a more summery, neutral vibe over here! ☀️🤍 I was ready for a break from all the bright red after the 4th, so we switched things up. These outdoor pillows are the perfect touch for a casual, neutral outdoor space. 🖤

Functional shower curtains… but make them pretty 🤍

If you’ve ever wondered how I made our drapery panel shower curtains actually work for guests, here’s the trick:

• Fold the shower curtain liner in half
• Use only 6 of the 12 rivets
• Attach the liner starting on the second drape hook
• Repeat on both drapery panels
• Tuck the liner behind the panels when not in use for a softer look

This keeps the bathroom feeling elevated and cozy while still being completely functional for guests staying in our home.

I’ll link everything for you 🤍

The Easiest Centerpiece Formula (Anyone Can Do This)👇

Step 1: Start with an anchor piece
Think tray, placemat, or table runner. This helps define the space and gives your centerpiece direction.

Step 2: Add a vase with texture
I usually choose a solid-colored vase with a little texture or character. It doesn’t have to be neutral — just something that fits the overall theme you’re going for!

Step 3: Bring in florals
I used spring stems that can easily carry through the summer months too. Faux or fresh both work beautifully.

Step 4: Add something personal
This is what makes a home feel collected and cozy. I added a watercolor portrait of my dog wearing a USA bandana 🇺🇸🐾

Step 5: Finish with ambience
A candle or rechargeable light instantly adds warmth and makes everything feel more intentional.

Pro tip: Pick a theme!
This Americana-inspired centerpiece will take me straight through Memorial Day and into the Fourth of July ❤️🤍💙

This wreath is sooooo good! An awesome all year around wreath. For Christmas I just add some red berries in and a Christmas sash. I went ahead and bought my Fourth of July sash to put on the wreath since we plan to entertain for Memorial Day & 4th of July. Totally elevated our door! Love it!

White kitchens are timeless—and mine isn't going anywhere. 🤍

If you've been told your white kitchen is "out," don't worry. You don't need a full renovation to make it feel warm, inviting, and current. A few simple swaps can completely transform the space.

✨ 3 easy ways to warm up a white kitchen:

1. Swap hardware and outlet covers for brass or gold finishes.
2. Style with wood accents, greenery, and warm-toned decor.
3. Add warm lighting—my favorite trick! This rechargeable lamp from Amerelle instantly makes any space feel cozy.

I also mixed it up—using one style for the cabinets and another for the drawers—and WOW, the difference it made. It instantly feels cozier, more intentional, and so much more elevated.

It’s the smallest details that people overlook… but they’re the ones that completely transform a space.

Do you remember this DIY from a few months ago? 👀

Everyone said it wouldn’t hold up… that it would scratch, fade, or wear off with everyday use.

Well—months later and I’m happy to report: it still looks SO good 🤍 No discoloration, no wear, no regrets.

The secret? Sealing that metallic wax finish with two coats of polyurethane 🙌🏼 That step made all the difference in keeping it durable and fresh.

If you’ve been on the fence about trying this—consider this your sign ✨

You know that one thing you didn’t realize was ruining your sleep… until you replaced it? 🤍
Yeah… it was my pillow.

I kept waking up with a stiff neck, constantly fluffing it, flipping it—nothing worked. Finally switched to this one and the difference was *immediate*. Better sleep, no neck pain, and it actually holds its shape (!!!)

If you’re not sleeping well, don’t overcomplicate it—start here.
