Warning: you will make some truly unhinged noises doing this 😂 We stretched clear plastic wrap tight over a container, sprinkled on some sprinkles, then talked (yelled, hummed, made dinosaur sounds) into a toilet paper roll to send sound vibrations across the surface. The louder and sillier the noise, the higher the sprinkles bounced. Instant seeing sound magic. We did this as part of my daughter’s 4th birthday on New Year’s Day — a fun way to sneak in science play while celebrating a brand new year. Mess-free, quick to set up, and guaranteed laughs. scienceplay preschoolmagic learningthroughplay playbasedlearning newyearactivities LTKKids
