Not even going to sugar coat it. 😅 This is my experience as a 2x c section mom so far and I know that everyone’s is different. My c-section operation was a breeze, but like any major surgery, recovery can be a journey. Feel free to share your experience in the comments in a helpful way. Thankfully, all of this gave me my baby, so yes, it was worth it and I would do it again 😩 A few other things I thought of: 📌 Along with the momentary nausea and vomiting, my whole body was itchy off and on for some hours. Something I think is a side effect from the epidural medication 🤔 📌 The itching sensation where the incision was made was something else. I read that it comes when an area is healing after surgery. 📌 I believe that with both vaginal and c-section, you can expect uterine bleeding for weeks after delivery. 📌 I was in and out of sleep for a large majority of day 1 and would literally fall asleep mid convo 🤣 📌The stitches were taken out after two weeks at my OB visit and the site healed really well. 📌 Expect some swelling in the face, legs and body. Drop any questions you have for me below and praying you have a smooth c section and recovery. ❤️ LTKBaby LTKstorytime LTKmomlife
