I found this dress at Belk from Crown & Ivy, and the movement is what sold me. It’s so flowy, comfortable, and just effortless. I grabbed the XXL, paired it with a pink beaded necklace from Amazon and my jelly shoes, and I got so many compliments at work.
I just felt so classy in this dress, it was one of those pieces that made me feel like the best version of myself.

I’ve been thinking about sharing more of my everyday work outfits instead of always doing full production videos. Just me, my iPhone, and what I actually wear to work.
I work as an Activities Director in a healthcare facility, so my outfits have to be comfortable and practical. I’m on my feet most of the day, and we can’t wear heels or open-toe shoes, so comfort is a must. That’s why I paired this look with my jelly flats.
This dress is from Walmart, and it’s honestly one of my favorite work dresses. It’s so easy to wear—I usually just toss it in the dryer to freshen it up, throw it on, and head out the door. It gets compliments every single time I wear it. I usually add a pop of color with my accessories, but it’s one of those dresses you can style a bunch of different ways.

Also… can we talk about this dress?! This was my first time shopping Anthropologie in store, and I immediately fell in love. I bought the XL, but after wearing it, I actually think I could’ve sized down to a Large since the back has a little extra room.

My first time shopping in Anthropologie in store! I've ordered online before, but this was my first time actually getting to browse and try things on in person.

And you know how it goes for us plus-size girls sometimes, if they don't have your size, you still try on what you can and see what works.

I picked up this dress in an XL, and honestly, I don't think I would've wanted it any bigger. I did have a few concerns about the bra situation, but we're gonna work that out because this dress was just too cute to pass up!

This dress was already a favorite when I had it in black, so when I saw it come back in this print, I had to grab it! 🐆

The fit is amazing, the side cutouts are just enough, and I've gotten so many compliments every time I've worn it. Definitely one of those throw-on-and-go pieces that makes you feel put together.

First time stepping into Aerie and honestly I was a little nervous since most stores only carry up to an XL in-store. I did end up finding this dress in a XXL (pretty sure it was a return 😅) but I actually loved the fit and color on me. Definitely makes me want to check out more of their pieces online because this one surprised me.

Saturday I had to run a few errands getting ready for the Mother’s Day cookout I was hosting at my house, and I wanted to feel cute but still comfortable. I always end up grabbing this dress from Walmart. I call it my “throw on and go” dress because it’s just so easy to wear. I feel like it’s all about the accessories and how you style it that can really make it look cute. This time I looked at the clothes, found this dress in a 3X, and took it home to try on since there’s no dressing room.

It ended up being a win and for around $20 and some change, you really can’t beat it.

Quick outfit check before heading out, this dress is from Amazon and I’m wearing an XXL. Super easy, comfortable, and perfect for a simple Sunday look.

Sandals are also from Amazon… cute, but I’ll be honest, they’re not the best for long wear. Definitely more of a “a few hours” shoe vs. all-day walking. Perfect for church, dinner, or something quick, but I wouldn’t rely on them if you’re gonna be on your feet a lot.

Tried on a few pieces at Old Navy definitely a mix of hits and misses.
I really liked the blue two-piece set, it was super cute and had me thinking.
The denim dress didn’t work for me though, the straps just weren’t adjustable and the fit was off because of it.

I did end up leaving with the polka dot

Avenue haul 🤍
Picked out a few pieces from Avenue. Wearing a size 22/24 in everything.

The dress fits, but could’ve sized down for a more fitted look. The vest ran big, definitely would size down one, maybe even two depending on the fit.

The pants though? Perfect fit. No notes 👏🏾

Sunday fit ✨ This dress is a 4X and a bit roomy on me now. If I bought it again, I’d size down to a 3X, but fit preference matters. Paired with a white turtleneck, tights, and Torrid loafers—these run big for me, so I always size down (I wearing a 9 instead of 9 1/2).
