Stopped by Walmart and decided to look around and see what cute pieces I could find in store. And they actually had some good stuff, so of course I had to do a little try-on! I even ended up bringing a few pieces home with me.

Back in the Cato Fashions dressing room and this faux suede dress is such a cute piece for transitioning into fall! I’m already picturing it with knee-high boots, but some cowboy boots would be so cute too. I love the sleeve details and the neckline it gives the dress a little something extra.

I’m wearing a size 18/20.

Cato Fashions is celebrating 80 YEARS, so of course we had to do a try-on!

They sent me over a few pieces, but y’all already know I’m a Cato shopper, so I mixed those in with a few pieces I picked up with my own money because Cato stays getting my coins. And in my opinion, they’ve really been doing their thing lately!

And if you see something you like, this is a GOOD weekend to shop! For the first time ever, Cato is offering FREE SHIPPING September 5–7 on full-price orders of $80+.

Walmart Haul Part 2!

For the denim vest, I’m wearing a 2X in the video, but I ended up returning it and sizing down to a 1X. The 1X fits SO much better! The straps are still a little loose, but I love it enough that I don’t mind getting them altered.

Walmart has been getting me lately, especially with the fall fashion! This Scoop look was too good not to share. I’m wearing my regular size 24 in the jeans and sized down to a 1X in the top. The straps are a little loose, but I plan on getting them altered. Other than that, I LOVE the fit!

Walmart and Ross haul!
Been doing a little shopping and slowly getting ready for fall! This haul is a mix of Walmart, Ross, and a few online finds, mostly accessories, jewelry, shoes, perfume, and a couple cute tops.

I’ve really been into sneakers lately, and for some reason I SWORE these Walmart shoes were $10… baby, they were $22 and some change. 😂 Still cute though!

I seriously can’t seem to stay out of Cato Fashions lately.

This little green set came home with me and I have zero regrets. I will say the top runs a little roomy. For reference, I’m typically a 20/22 and I’m wearing the top in a 14/16 and the bottoms in a 22/24. If you like a more relaxed fit, I’d probably stick with your normal size. I personally like my clothes a little more fitted, so sizing down in the top worked better for me.

For the denim set, I got the top in an 18/20 and the bottoms in a 24.

Back again with another dressing room try-on! 💙

Lately, Crown & Ivy has really been speaking to me. I don’t know what it is, but I’m definitely leaning into that classic, feminine, Southern style, and they’ve been having some really cute pieces.

Everything I tried on was an XXL in the straight sizes. There was one dress I absolutely loved, but they didn’t have it in my size. If it wasn’t for the girls (I’m a 42G 😅), I probably could’ve gotten away with the XL. The fit everywhere else was great, but it was just a little too snug in the bust. I would’ve definitely grabbed the XXL if they had it because that dress was so good!

P.S. I definitely caught these on sale. Y’all know I wasn’t paying full price.

As an Activities Director in a healthcare facility, my outfits have to be comfortable enough to keep up with my day, but I still like to look cute.

Today’s outfit: My top is from Cato Fashions size 18/20, and these Torrid size 3 pants are one of my all-time favorites, I have them in multiple colors and prints for a reason!

Lately, I feel like I’m settling into my own style. I still love a good trend, but I’m realizing I’m drawn more to timeless, classic pieces that make me feel put together.

I found this dress at Belk from Crown & Ivy, and the movement is what sold me. It’s so flowy, comfortable, and just effortless. I grabbed the XXL, paired it with a pink beaded necklace from Amazon and my jelly shoes, and I got so many compliments at work.
I just felt so classy in this dress, it was one of those pieces that made me feel like the best version of myself.

I’ve been thinking about sharing more of my everyday work outfits instead of always doing full production videos. Just me, my iPhone, and what I actually wear to work.
I work as an Activities Director in a healthcare facility, so my outfits have to be comfortable and practical. I’m on my feet most of the day, and we can’t wear heels or open-toe shoes, so comfort is a must. That’s why I paired this look with my jelly flats.
This dress is from Walmart, and it’s honestly one of my favorite work dresses. It’s so easy to wear—I usually just toss it in the dryer to freshen it up, throw it on, and head out the door. It gets compliments every single time I wear it. I usually add a pop of color with my accessories, but it’s one of those dresses you can style a bunch of different ways.

Also… can we talk about this dress?! This was my first time shopping Anthropologie in store, and I immediately fell in love. I bought the XL, but after wearing it, I actually think I could’ve sized down to a Large since the back has a little extra room.

My first time shopping in Anthropologie in store! I've ordered online before, but this was my first time actually getting to browse and try things on in person.

And you know how it goes for us plus-size girls sometimes, if they don't have your size, you still try on what you can and see what works.

I picked up this dress in an XL, and honestly, I don't think I would've wanted it any bigger. I did have a few concerns about the bra situation, but we're gonna work that out because this dress was just too cute to pass up!

This dress was already a favorite when I had it in black, so when I saw it come back in this print, I had to grab it! 🐆

The fit is amazing, the side cutouts are just enough, and I've gotten so many compliments every time I've worn it. Definitely one of those throw-on-and-go pieces that makes you feel put together.

First time stepping into Aerie and honestly I was a little nervous since most stores only carry up to an XL in-store. I did end up finding this dress in a XXL (pretty sure it was a return 😅) but I actually loved the fit and color on me. Definitely makes me want to check out more of their pieces online because this one surprised me.

Saturday I had to run a few errands getting ready for the Mother’s Day cookout I was hosting at my house, and I wanted to feel cute but still comfortable. I always end up grabbing this dress from Walmart. I call it my “throw on and go” dress because it’s just so easy to wear. I feel like it’s all about the accessories and how you style it that can really make it look cute. I paired it with my Dolce Vita tennis shoes and a cheetah print hat, and honestly I felt comfortable but still put together

Quick outfit check before heading out, this dress is from Amazon and I’m wearing an XXL. Super easy, comfortable, and perfect for a simple Sunday look.

Sandals are also from Amazon… cute, but I’ll be honest, they’re not the best for long wear. Definitely more of a “a few hours” shoe vs. all-day walking. Perfect for church, dinner, or something quick, but I wouldn’t rely on them if you’re gonna be on your feet a lot.
