Someone asked me the other day what my thoughts were on dating a man who still lives with his mom… And in my opinion, I’m much more concerned about “why” someone lives with their parents than just the sheer fact that they live with their parents. There are any number of reasons why an adult might live with their parents, or a parent might live with their adult child. However, the only way you can decide if that dynamic works for you is by being open to having a conversation about it. We all know the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” and while it’s easier said than done, there is something to be said about being willing to let someone’s words speak for themselves rather than letting our own preconceived notions speak over them.
