Tween edition: back to school shopping. Here's what works for us.. my daughter will happily join me and shop for hours, she'll pick out what she likes and will try it on. My son on the other hand has tried and will go shopping but we have to be quick. Part 2 of trying on the outfits my daughter picked for me, the ones she promised were not "cringe." Her choices were actually good and her taste surprised me. I'd wear all three honestly.
In 3rd place, the peplum embroidered white tank-i love it, she hated it. She said this was "too farmer-y." Maybe it's the shorts that she didn't like with it. I'd wear the tank with high waisted jeans, try it with different shorts, and a maxi skirt.
In 2nd place: the polka dot tube top. This surprised me- not sure I'd wear it because it seems too "young" for me and I'm *shocked* she loved it! she even said we could match She has a top very similar and she's in a polka dot era clearly (her sweats are the same design!)
In 1st place: the navy lounge set. This set is very soft and cute! I'd wear this with sneakers and a baseball hat, or sandals. We both agreed this set was a winner. She loved it and I'll likely get it for her to wear for back to school and maybe I'II borrow it since she borrows my shoes (lol)

This might be the best tee shirt of the summer. You saw it before with this denim short try-on and it’s finally online. It’s the perfect gray, it's ridiculously soft, slightly thicker than a regular tee and has a relaxed, slightly boxy fit thats's just right. Front pocket, made of cotton. It's poplin cotton, elastic waist, pockets and a great length (I'm 5'2" and this is regular size XS).

The versatile skirt is a great alternative to shorts. Pair it wear with sneakers, jelly flats or sandals. Try adding chunky beaded necklace in a fun color. Nothing says "I like it" quite like using it the same day it shows up.
My Isavie Boutique gifted purse was delivered, lopened the package, tried all three straps, and took it straight out for its first official trip. Destination? A free 7-Eleven Slurpee. It's 7-11 day!! It felt like the right way to break it in.

Great pieces for vacation or summer gatherings. Wish these striped poplin pants came in a shorter length option but the cost of hemming these won't be too much.

The shell sweater is really cute for a coverup or with a tank under!

New barrel leg jeans with embroidered stitching are a fun option and have a nice texture.

Mid-Rise Shorts: Relaxed fit (I'm wearing my usual size), a little loose but wouldn't want to go smaller. Great length 4". A little loose in the waist, no gapping in the crotch. Would prefer no distressing but these are small. Comes in a medium wash and a cream with white stripe.

A-Line Shorts: These ran small so go up one size for comfort and fit. I like the length of these. Fit well in the waist and seat. They come in black and denim washes. Flattering and just right!

Bermuda Shorts: this style is growing on me. They are slightly small so try a size up. I'd prefer an inch shorter. Great wash. I like the finished hem, this style also comes in distressed version too.

This is one item I keep coming back to- everspring lavender & bergamot liquid hand soap. I keep one in my bathrooms and my kitchen. It doesn't are dry out my hands and smells so nice.

This flowy dress is effortless, looks like Madewell but is half the cost. Love it in this neutral olive green. Worn it to antique markets, farmers markets, the movies, brunches, etc. many ways to style.

Little lace top is so pretty and looks like a Free People top. Be sure not to dry it though(I did and now wear as a swim cover up with white shorts and it is still cute but too short for me to wear now that it shrank- learn from me!) I wore this so much before the dryer incident- jeans, shorts, leopard print pants, striped jeans, gingham shorts! Prettiest lace details in this 100% cotton top.

Floral barrel leg jeans! At the time these felt so bold and I'm glad I went out of my comfort zone. These are easy to wear and are a special outfit vine even when you just throw on a tee and sandals. The barrel leg is slim and not overwhelming on my short legs!

This lounger set is perfect for days at home and easy errands. Soft, light sweater material. Comes in many colors! Sporty mom vibes who like to be comfy!

Sometimes all I think about is that "whoosh" sound the driver and the ball makes when you hit it just right. Thank you to @woweny_official for this gifted golf/ tennis skirt. The two layers are lightweight and have great movement and the shorts underneath have pockets.

I get in and out of golf (same for tennis) and lately have felt so motivated to play. It is the best feeling when I see improvements in my game! I have a lot to work on but I'm having the best time while I'm trying. My kids and some friends were out here with me today too which made it even more enjoyable, before we had some time at the pool.

My last day of "me time" during the day before I transition to an all day activity coordinator. As an introvert, I need me time, some quiet time to myself during the day or else I get overwhelmed with stimulation. Is that true for you as well? My kids are off of school tomorrow and then it'll be full time with my kids around, whom I love more than anything, but I do need breaks from them /everyone so I can function.
