Couch: 1 year old Toddlers: undefeated. I finally took a fabric shaver + handheld steamer to our couch and the amount of fuzz, pilling, crumbs, and mystery toddler debris that came off… honestly offensive. This couch is basically brand new (we moved in a year ago) but apparently toddlers believe couches are for snacks, wiping hands, and full-contact gymnastics. But look at her now. Smooth. Fresh. Respectable again after a little deep cleaning and fabric de-pilling. …until approximately 3:14pm when my kids redecorate it with yogurt and Goldfish. Mom life.
