“I feel your pain.” That’s the famous line, right? Well, here’s a little moment of truth… While I love shopping for my clients—finding the perfect pieces to elevate their wardrobes—I hate shopping for myself. Hate it. Why? A few reasons. For one, I’m incredibly particular about fit (who knew? 🤔😂). If I had the skill or patience, I’d probably make my own clothes. But the bigger challenge? My own reflection. I’ve battled body dysmorphic disorder for most of my adult life, and let’s just say, shopping for myself is a mental minefield. But as I always tell my clients: The only way to truly know what fits, what brands honor your body, and what pieces make you feel amazing is to try them on. And guess what? That applies to me too. So, I did the thing. I braved the fitting room. I had to update my wardrobe, and I challenged myself to step beyond my fave color black (yes, black is one of my “wow” colors—certified winter here! ❄️—but there’s a whole spectrum of shades I’ve been meaning to explore.) And then… Kenneth Cole came through. The fit? Spot on. The colors? A win! (Okay, yes, I snagged a black hoodie, but the details—the font, the pulls—I had to.) And the real victory? A stone-colored jacket that felt just right. So, what do you think? LTKSeasonal LTKMens LTKOver40
