I never cease to be amazed at the wide array of color combos offered by Adidas. It has become one of my fave fashion sneaker brands of all time! And the new “Munich” (München in German) is great. The suede, the throwback gum-rubber sole and oh the colors 👌 (AND more colors to come)!!! There’s something here for EVERY season!

Honestly, this is a great shoe to pair with all colors of denim pant or skirt and would look great with linen too!

Yes it’s still August and warm (especially here in Texas) but I’m a big fan of “dress for the weather you want”

The softness and warmth we remember but at a huge weight savings due to new weaving technologies (yup, just got a lil textile nerdy 🤓). These two sweaters are…amazing. A lovely 80 degree day here in Texas which means shortsleeves and shorts are perfect…but there’s no need for it to be the standard dude uniform of t-shirt, cargo shorts and flip flops (that’s no way to go through life son). Instead, a well fitted polo in my season (TH makes THE polo that’s the best cut for me and it comes in a TON of great colors for every season), a great short and nice sneaks are an easy way to elevate “summer ware”. Throw on a good ‘shade and jewelry and voila - put together!

“I feel your pain.”

That’s the famous line, right? Well, here’s a little moment of truth…

While I love shopping for my clients—finding the perfect pieces to elevate their wardrobes—I hate shopping for myself. Hate it.

Why? A few reasons. For one, I’m incredibly particular about fit (who knew? 🤔😂). If I had the skill or patience, I’d probably make my own clothes. But the bigger challenge? My own reflection. I’ve battled body dysmorphic disorder for most of my adult life, and let’s just say, shopping for myself is a mental minefield.

But as I always tell my clients: The only way to truly know what fits, what brands honor your body, and what pieces make you feel amazing is to try them on. And guess what? That applies to me too.

So, I did the thing. I braved the fitting room. I had to update my wardrobe, and I challenged myself to step beyond my fave color black (yes, black is one of my “wow” colors—certified winter here! ❄️—but there’s a whole spectrum of shades I’ve been meaning to explore.)

And then… Kenneth Cole came through. The fit? Spot on. The colors? A win! (Okay, yes, I snagged a black hoodie, but the details—the font, the pulls—I had to.) And the real victory? A stone-colored jacket that felt just right.

Trying something new. I have long been a fan of skinny jeans. I know how they looked more polished than a baggier jean and I just like the way they wear at the ankle. I do love to show a lil skin at the ankle (I know, scandalous) but I always tell my clients to get out of the comfort zone and my body architecture will support other cuts (don’t expect to see me in a bell bottom anytime soon 😳😂) so trying an in-cuffed “slim straight”. I’m kinda diggin’ it.
