SO MANY REQUESTS FOR THIS! 🦶 Save this video for your #sundayreset because cracked heels are SO annoying and it took me forever to perfect it! I now do this weekly (and maybe twice a week if I’m in the desert because my skin gets SO dry out there) and I apply the urea cream sometimes multiple nights a week to make sure my feet never get too far gone. I also am a foot snuggler so this was really to make sure my husband still wanted to sleep in the same bed as me. Here’s my baby soft foot routine for dry, cracked heels!

1.) make a foot soak with one part yellow listerine, one part white vinegar, one part hot water and soak your feet for 20-30 mins.

2.) get your hands on this giant foot file (I’ll put everything in my bio) because it’s the only one that I’ve found that is gentle yet effective! It’s also curved so it fits really well. Work it in circular motions in the foot bath!

3.) dry your feet off really well

4.) get a 40% urea cream + salicylic acid - I’ve tried a lot with less potency and it always takes forever for it to work. Put a thick layer of it on your problem areas and wear thick socks and sleep in it overnight. I usually rinse it off in the morning!

5.) use vapor rub and apply it to your toe nails just to protect them from ever getting a foot fungus! I’ll also rub this on my feet after a long night in heels because it soothes and also softens your feet.

6.) if you have a heel that is tougher, you can use one of these disposable pumice-like blocks to work on your calluses before using the file. They’re great to travel with too!

If you want to keep your feet baby soft, do this 1-2x per week and they should never get so far gone that you can’t get them back to baby softness quickly! #footcare #calluses #pedicure #athomepedicure

If you have a pool, listen up! The mix of pool water and patio flooring can sometimes be a slippery mix. Even with a textured finish on our patio, we were slipping and sliding when we got out of the pool. It took me months to find a non-slip commercial grade mat that wasn’t ugly! This one looks really elevated and also serves the safety purpose. It also comes in different colors and sizes as well.

Nothing has shocked me more than these custom Amazon curtains because not only are they STUNNING but as far as custom drapes go, you can NOT beat the price of these. I also have them mounted on the ceiling (and added a blackout liner) which means my room get SO dark and I could sleep for 12 hours straight!

I took me weeks but I found an aesthetic ceiling fan because let’s be honest, some people just can’t live without a ceiling fan but they’re almost always so ugly! We have recessed lighting in our bedroom, so it wasn’t necessary to have a fan with a light (but they do offer options with a light) and it does make the visual impact much less intense. We opted to go with white so that it blended in well with the ceiling.

Do you have cute shoes for your pup?!? If not, you really should! They’re not only adorable but they also are so important in preventing their paws from burning on hot pavement. During most of the year, the sidewalk is too hot for your pups feet and we used to have closed shoes but I recently upgraded to these croc-like options because the holes are important in keeping their paws ventilated. Benji is a 65 lb golden retriever and I got him a large!

PART ONE! This was a ROLLERCOASTER project and while this is for sure niche content, I had to share it in case I can help just ONE of you decide whether or not it is worth it to DIY or hire out a professional to install faux grass in your yard. We wanted to add a faux grass dog potty zone to our desert vacation home because we wanted to have a designated place for guest’s pups to potty. I didn’t want our cleaners to have to search around the entire property for poop bombs! Also, the desert has TONS of wildlife and critters and I wanted to limit the amount of encounters they would have on the property. I thought that this would be an easy install but let me tell you, I will never do this again. The payoff was great but the amount of work was next level. There are a ton of people who would just slap this together but we wanted to do it the right way so that we didn’t ever have to re-do it.
