This is me at 108 lbs. Laughing, smiling, projecting a confidence that I didn't feel. I HATED my body.⁠

Even in my teenage years, I'd averaged somewhere around 130 lbs, so you can imagine the shock of going from 126 lbs. pre-pregnancy to 167 lbs. at delivery to 107 lbs. just a few months after.⁠

I felt like after everything we had been through, my body just wouldn't show up for me. I felt unattractive. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. None of my clothes fit. And no matter what I did, I just couldn't gain the weight back. ⁠

Eventually, I realized that it was deeper than the weight. I was suffering from postpartum anxiety and depression. ⁠

The minute I focused on healing and managing my mental health, things started changing. ⁠
⁠
I was happier...healthier. I felt like I was able to be a better mom. And slowly but surely, the numbers on the scale started to rise.⁠
