This is me at 108 lbs. Laughing, smiling, projecting a confidence that I didn't feel. I HATED my body.⁠ ⁠ Even in my teenage years, I'd averaged somewhere around 130 lbs, so you can imagine the shock of going from 126 lbs. pre-pregnancy to 167 lbs. at delivery to 107 lbs. just a few months after.⁠ ⁠ I felt like after everything we had been through, my body just wouldn't show up for me. I felt unattractive. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. None of my clothes fit. And no matter what I did, I just couldn't gain the weight back. ⁠ ⁠ Eventually, I realized that it was deeper than the weight. I was suffering from postpartum anxiety and depression. ⁠ ⁠ The minute I focused on healing and managing my mental health, things started changing. ⁠ ⁠ I was happier...healthier. I felt like I was able to be a better mom. And slowly but surely, the numbers on the scale started to rise.⁠ ⁠ I'm in such a great season of life now!⁠ Go ahead & swipe left to behold the happy weight 🙌🏾😂 ⁠ Sometimes we have to focus on our insides first to reflect the changes we'd like to see on the outside.⁠ ⁠ ⁠ What do you love about your body? Surprise! Mama’s pregnant, AGAIN! 🤰🏽💃⁠ ⁠ ⁠ I’m so excited! Now that I’m out of the 'first trimester morning sickness' phase, I feel like I can finally breathe and enjoy pregnancy! ⁠ ⁠  ⁠ ⁠ I’m nervous about being a mom of two (under two). And don't get me started on breastfeeding and sleepless nights. I have anxiety just thinking about it. Helping my big boy adjust to being a big brother is at the top of my list. ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ All things considered, I’m glad to know that I’m not alone in this. I have my support system and God!
