Here's a fun way to tie dye with your kids to make it look like fireworks!
All you need are sharpies, rubbing alcohol, a cup and a rubber band!
Tie a shirt around a cup and let your kids doodle with sharpie! Then you just use a dropper to drop rubbing alcohol on the design and watch it spread! Make sure you put a piece of cardboard on the inside of the shirt because it will soak through:) The cup makes it form in a firework pattern!
Then you let it sit out until it completely dries.
Once dry, either put it in the dryer for 15 minutes or iron over the design on high heat (make sure you have a thin towel between)! The heat makes the design permanent!

I loved watching the kids race down the slip and slide to try and grab the football, seeing who could hit the target (or accidentally miss every time 😂), and watching them laugh as they jumped on the water cannon to launch balls into the air!

We made a few simple swaps to make our space safer without taking away the fun 🤍

For the paint, I just used Behr paint that we already had from other projects! Ideally, you would use outdoor paint so that it holds up best :) Once I had mine painted, I sealed it with a topcoat!

These clay letters are super easy to make, and they look so cute to display in their room!

Here’s how you can make them!

I made stencils by printing out letters in the font that I liked on plain computer paper. Then I cut those out and use that as a stencil for my clay!

Once you cut out your letters, you are going to take a rolled out piece of clay and place it on top, this is going to give it the bubble effect! Then you use water to smooth out all of the edges until your letters look nice and smooth.

You need to let the clay completely dry before you paint it. Depending upon the thickness of your letters, this can take several days or up to a week!

Once your clay is dry, you go ahead and paint it with whatever design you like! I just used acrylic paint and then I sprayed my letters with a high gloss shine afterward!

I cut command strips to fit the back of my letters and used command strips to adhere them to the wall :) I painted both front and back of the letters that way the command strips would be able to stick to the paint, they don’t stick well to just plain clay!
