POV: your foyer only has about 30 inches to work with. When our front door, closet, and garage door all open into the same space, a console table felt way too big. So I went with an oversized mirror and an ottoman instead. Now it works as a place to sit, drop bags or shoes, and I decorate the mirror for every holiday.
