The non-negotiable step. I rotate between Color Wow Money Mist and GHD Heat Protect Spray – lightweight, effective, and they don’t overload my hair. For something a little thicker, the Olaplex No5 is great.

Patrick Ta might have just changed my concealer standards.

I put this to a proper test. Full day in London. School drop off. Work. Reformer. No powder. Just setting spray.

It didn’t crease.
It didn’t cling.
It didn’t settle into fine lines.

Alongside the @decreeskincare light cleanse and @byoma Hydrating Serum, this is my most emptied product of all time.

Morning, evening, between skincare layers, when my skin is feeling dry, tight or sensitive, after microneedling and facial treatments… the list goes on. If you haven’t tried this yet, I honestly don’t know what you’re waiting for.

January exhaustion check.

Am I the only one feeling flat, foggy and quite frankly, bone-tired right now?
This level of post-Christmas exhaustion feels… intense.

The run-up to Christmas is a lot. A LOT.

Not just the fun bits. The juggling. The planning. The parenting mental load, the school admin, end-of-term cluster f^ck, performances, parties, gifts, food, hosting, stepford family expectations, socialising, village parenting, pretending you’re fine when you’re actually running on fumes.

And then January arrives and we’re all supposed to snap straight back into productivity mode like none of that happened. Peak January burnout, honestly.

Which is better?

So I put the @narsissist Under Eye Brightener and @hudabeauty Faux Filter Colour Corrector to the test…..aaaand….i think they’re both better…

Here me out; I think without the @kosas concealer on top the Nars gives a better instant blurring, brightening effect BUT with concealer the Huda seems to smooth out by under eye and counteract my tear trough recession, giving a more youthful effect.

🎄 Silent night, sparkly lights… London feels festive, the de Brett house is officially decorated, and I became a year older.
