This one SHOULD be easy, because I know you all have lots of black in your closets, BUT the trick is to look intentional with your all black ensemble, rather than looking like it’s your wardrobe default mode. Here are a couple of tips to help you do that. Make sure your pieces are in good condition. Faded black is not a color (I don’t care what my husband says). Basics are great, but all black is a great opportunity to add some drama, or interesting pieces. Build on great pants. A great pair of black pants is worth their weight in gold in your wardrobe. They’re the perfect building block for a fab-all black look, and if you’ve been living in skinnies for the last few years, a wide-leg pair will feel fresh and different.
