I used to avoid simmer pots because I thought they looked like too much work. Turns out, I was wrong (happens rarely 😉 - just ask my husband). They’re super easy, they smell like Christmas in a pot, & they last 3 days. With littles, I prefer to do mine in a mini crockpot, but the simmer pots on the stove work just as great. Add the ingredients to your grocery order for Christmas & give it a shot! Recipe: (you could cut this in half) •2 teaspoons nutmeg •3 teaspoons whole cloves •3 anise stars (optional. Kind of hard to find a bit more expensive. I’ve done simmer pots without them & they still smell great!) •1 c cranberries •2 sprigs rosemary •2-3 cinnamon sticks •2 navel oranges
