Yesterday I shared the progress...
today they're DONE.
I went back and forth on the baluster design, but ultimately decided against baskets and knuckles because I didn't want that overly 2000s look. We went with straight satin black iron instead, and it was 100% the right choice for this house.
The Coffee Brown stain with the black iron and white trim is exactly the classic, updated look I was hoping for. It kept the character of the staircase while completely elevating it from the old wood spindles.
I wish I could tag the company because their work was incredible, but they're one of those word-of-mouth businesses that doesn't even need social media.

You guys have been asking me to share a little more behind-the-scenes/home stuff lately, so I’m trying 🤎

I grabbed this rug at Lowe’s because I was impatient and wanted something out here ASAP… and the quality is actually SO good. I love it. It’s just the wrong size for my office deck 🙃 I wanted more wood showing on the sides and definitely need a runner instead.

New one is already on the way, so hopefully attempt #2 works better 😂

I know my content has been a little more home lately than shoes, but there honestly hasn’t been a ton of Golden Goose inventory/sales lately either… so for now you’re getting a mix of both lol.

These swivel counter stools were such a good find
My boys put them together and it was super straightforward.
They swivel and return back to place when you get up - which I love. Super comfortable, really well made, and they look way more expensive than they are.
I went with upholstery even with three boys - they're older now and take care of things, and I just didn't want full leather... and I'm so glad I did
