Summer’s not over yet! We switched out our sensory bin for an ocean theme & are soaking up these last few weeks of summer 🌊☀️

Save this for when your toddler wakes up extra early & you need a little time to get your life together 🤣 (speaking from experience)

How to make foam bubbles:
1/2 cup of tear free soap 🧼
1 cup water 💦
Some food coloring for a little extra fun 🔵
Mix together a handheld mixer (we used a frother bc our bin wasn’t deep enough & created a little mess😅)

Add some fun sea animals, cups, or scoops and your toddler will be set for some sensory play! 🫧🙌🏼

We kept the summer sensory bin theme going and switched out our ice cream bins for lemonade this past weekend 🍋

For this one I tried to reuse items we already had, including: citrus colored pom poms, some pipe cleaners we turned into straws, tissue paper, baking cups for sorting colors, one of our favorite @target toys to mix up the lemonade, and some tongs and cups to practice pouring and picking up! We also threw in some fake lemons we have used as a vase filler 🤣

If you need an easy summer activity to keep your toddler entertained using things you already have, this one’s for you 🫧🧽💦

My toddler loves cleaning and she washed her car for longer than I thought she would & we got to enjoy some patio time too!

All you need:
🧽Sponges or brushes
🧼Soap and some water
🚗A car, toy, or something you want cleaned🤣 Our daughter ended up cleaning her play lawn mower too after she finished washing her @thestep2company car!

Made a low-prep fireworks craft for the Fourth of July this morning 🎆And it was a hit with my toddler! I originally saw it on black paper with white chalk which would be adorable too.

My toddler took some creative liberties with this one at the end 🤣 but overall she did so good using a q-tip to paint the fireworks and followed my lead trying to dot it on the line (for the most part haha)

Three simple ideas for Mother’s Day cards 🌸🪻

There’s nothing more special than something homemade and we will be giving these to the special grandmas (and moms) in our lives! 💕

Have your little one help by ripping and crumpling the tissue paper, sticking it to the glue, using the cotton ball on a clothespin to make flower patterns, or dipping the water bottle in paint and pushing it on the paper. Working on all the fine motor skills 🎨👌🏼
