-edit, post, plan, etc during “office hours” rather than sporadically throughout the day (this protects being present outside of office hours, which can and will change day to day due to the nature of my job)
-cook more (and slow down and practice enjoying it)

I can’t believe I did all this with peel & stick… 👀✨

Here’s everything I used and what I learned:

– Peel & stick countertop that looks like Taj Mahal marble
– Peel & stick backsplash with a pretty stone-like texture
– Peel & stick wood-look wallpaper for:
• the side of my fridge facing the entryway
• the two clear accent cabinet doors
This one was trickier - the adhesive isn’t as strong and corners/edges were tough since the material is stiffer.

I also:
– Updated the outlets
– Swapped in a new kitchen faucet
– Used grout to camouflage small imperfections in the backsplash
– Added sealant around the wallpaper edges near the sink

Cutting the countertop vinyl around the sink was the hardest part for me, and it is far from perfect lol. But this was a true DIY experiment - no tutorials, no prior experience with peel & stick, never changed an outlet or faucet before - and I’m honestly so proud of how it turned out. It’s a massive improvement.

For maintenance:
I’m being gentle with it - trivets, coasters, wiping spills immediately, and never cutting on the surface. I’ll keep you posted on durability, but if someone experienced installed this for me, I’m pretty sure it would look insanely perfect and last even longer.

Since my full kitchen remodel is around the corner, perfection wasn’t the goal - seeing a transformation was. And wow… it made such a difference. ✨
