Let’s talk sunscreen + extensions — because not all SPF is created equal when it comes to your hair! If you’ve noticed your blonde or light extensions turning orange, pink, or brassy, your sunscreen might be the culprit. The ingredient avobenzone (found in many chemical sunscreens) is known to react with lightened hair and cause discoloration — and once it stains, it’s tough to reverse.
