Let’s talk sunscreen + extensions — because not all SPF is created equal when it comes to your hair!

If you’ve noticed your blonde or light extensions turning orange, pink, or brassy, your sunscreen might be the culprit.
The ingredient avobenzone (found in many chemical sunscreens) is known to react with lightened hair and cause discoloration — and once it stains, it’s tough to reverse.

Here’s the tea:
BAD: Avobenzone, Octocrylene
GOOD: Mineral-based SPF with Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide

This Halara dress was the perfect match for my Disney trip, it was packable, light weight, fast drying and with the built in shorts no issues with chafing at all !! The NCA All Star Nationals 2025 has shattered records, becoming the LARGEST cheerleading event EVER! Witness 1,716 teams from 460 programs battle for 240 national titles and coveted Cheer Worlds bids. With 178 Worlds-level teams, Dallas is about to explode with talent! This epic year marks the end of an era, as NCA Nationals moves to Houston in 2026.
