Some days self-love feels out of reach.

But lately I’m starting to understand: it’s not a switch you flip, it’s a language you learn. I’m practicing speaking kindly to myself, even when the old voices are loud.

Instead of criticism, I’m giving my body what it needs: sleep, movement, and meals that support me. I’m not done learning, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

I severely underestimated how much of my life as a mom would be spent taking kids off of counters, tables, furniture, the top of the car… Heaven help me.

Feeling the vacation hangover HARD, so here’s my to-do to keep me on track.

•Laundry (SO MUCH LAUNDRY)

Some days, I leave the house looking like a zombie BUT lately I’ve tried to always do these steps to feel good about myself for the day. 👇
1. Do my hair (of course, my fave part)
2. Brush my teeth (this is a given regardless but I love the feeling of freshly brushed teeth)
3. Moisturizer
4. Primer
5. Tinted SPF
6. Blush
7. Lashes
8. Brows

This takes me 10-20 min depending on the hairstyle and it’s so worth it. This was an early morning so I definitely needed to cover the sleep-deprived bags under my eyes. 😂

I was finally diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome after 15+ years of chronic joint pain. Now I’m on a mission to build up the muscles around my joints to make them less vulnerable to dislocating so I can finally be active again. 🙏 my go-to workouts right now are water aerobics and biking in addition to my full-body physical therapy.

The longest I’ve made it in a long time, slowly building up endurance and muscles 🥹
