Why does no one talk about how ugly the ikea closet rods are? I knew I wanted to swap to metal rods, but the real surprise was that “upgrading” actually cost less than the IKEA version! ✨ I swapped out the standard komplement closet rods for a more elevated, oval metal option that fit perfectly into the adjustable holes for a much more high end look 🙌 I purchased in 24”, 36” & 48” sizes to be cut down for all three pax sizes (19 5/8”, 29 1/2” & 39 3/8” widths) and all of the tools to do this easy upgrade 🛒 It was the easiest DIY - just measure, mark, wrap the rod with painters tape, saw through it with a small jack saw, sand down the edges, and then install the bracket & insert the rod 🪚 LTKHome
