Warm vintage modern with a touch of collected traditional. How I installed the custom archways. 1. Apply a generous amount of construction adhesive to the solid wood pieces. 2. Position each piece and use a level as you go to ensure everything is straight. 3. Gently tap with a rubber mallet for a tight fit. 4. Secure the pieces with painter’s tape and leave them in place overnight. 5. Allow the adhesive to fully cure for 24 hours. 6. Caulk all seams and gaps. 7. Apply two coats of good quality trim paint. I used Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel in High Hide White. One DIY project that completely transformed the look and feel of my home.
