Recipe: Choose your stencil. (This is the fun part.) Choose your colours or one colour. (Looks good with one colour also.) My colours: BM Pale Oak - Background BM Alligator Alley BM Shakespeare Tan BM Mountain Lake I used foam brushes with a light hand and went in very lightly, missing some areas of the stencil intentionally. I wanted a worn and textured feel. There was some paint bleeding and I had to go back with the Pale Oak to touch it up in the end. But found I liked the imperfections. I bought my colours in tester sizes. It was more than enough to do one wall. But you can use paints/colours that you've used previously in your home. This gives your paint colours a whole new dimension and the colour/s will look different. One wall, took me one day.
