One of the best things I learned reading the book ‘Atomic Habits’ by James Clear, is the power of habit stacking. It’s one of the only ways to truly maximize productivity time. Obviously habit stacking everything is never a good idea either. I strive to be present for most things in life. But a combo that is mindless (to some degree) like walking and using my creative brain at the same time, is deeply fulfilling. This has really helped my adhd a ton! It helps light up every part of my brain that feeds my reward system for accomplishment. It isn’t really about doing “more” as much as it’s about being intentional with what feels aligned, fills me with satisfaction and feels joyful. What are your favorite habit stacks?
