Clearly my morning routine is a bit rusty 🤣. Crammed all the necessary tasks into an hour before work. I am incredibly my fortunate to have a hybrid job where I spend most of the week at home but that hasn’t made the mental transition of going back to my 9-5 any easier. The U.S. has zero guaranteed paid maternity leave. The international recommended MINIMUM standard is 14 weeks. American working moms are superhuman by necessity. Thriving in an environment that is hostile towards the needs of mothers and children. Imma do the dang thing because I really have no choice but man, we need better options!!
