Where to absorb the magic power of the lotus flower ⤵️ 🪷 When I heard of Lotusland in Montecito, CA I had to make sure I made a reservation during my trip to the Santa Barbara area. @lotusland_gannawalska 🪷Did you know that the lotus is considered one of the most sacred plants in the world? ✨What I learned on the tour was life changing 🪷The lotus flower has a life cycle like no other plant, its roots are grounded deep in the mud and it thrives in murky conditions. Their stems reach up to find the top of the water and submerge every night to rebloom the next day. At the top of the water is where you see their blossoms. Their petals last for only a few days before shedding. This is why the lotus is associated with the symbol of rebirth, purity and strength. ✨It reminded me of all of the things we go through under the surface as humans. Often times people don’t get to see the murky, muddy, dark times we have to face. We usually only showcase our beautiful blossoms on the surface level. ➡️This is a reminder that because of your strong roots, you are grounded to thrive through any situation. Keep on reaching up to find the top and you are bound to blossom.
