✨Why I continue to make time for this...

As much as I love teaching yoga as an instructor, taking a yoga class as a student is equally important (if not more).

❤️The hardest part sometimes is simply getting there (finding the extra time, not feeling like driving to get there, prioritzing other things that are important).

I encourage you this - simply show up. Whether you’re feeling happy, sad, excited, nervous.....

Once you’re actually on your mat, it’s a reminder that you’re giving yourself a moment to breathe, move, and let go. It’s a chance to show up for you so you have the capacity to show up for others.

❤️You deserve that space, that time, and the joy it brings (or anything else that you like to do that makes you feel at peace).

This is your much needed reminder to take a pause and reflect on how you want to spend your time today. Hoping you’re able to show up to the experiences that you feel add value to your life.

Summer Is Still Summering at Crystal Cove Beach

Summer isn’t over yet, and one of my favorite ways to soak it up is with a beach day at Crystal Cove. It always feels a little more adventurous here. You walk through a tunnel to get to the beach, which somehow makes it feel like a hidden gem every single time.

What I love most is that you have options. There’s a great restaurant and bar right on the sand if you want to grab food and a drink, or you can pack your own and picnic, which is what I did. I brought my black and white striped cooler that doubles as a beach tote, and my foldable black and white beach mat for lounging. Both are practical but still give that pulled-together summer look. White flip flops completed the look and were perfect for walking across the sand and up to the Shake Shack later.

Toward the end of the day, walked up the hill to grab a burger and milkshake from the Shake Shack and caught the most perfect view of the sunset. Crystal Cove really gives you the best of both worlds - beach, bites, and a view to end the day.

Angels in Fur: How Animals Bring a Touch of Heaven to Earth

There’s something magical about the way animals approach you, as if they know exactly when you need a little extra love or warmth. I’ll never forget arriving in Santorini for the first time. As I stepped off the bus, a dog came running straight toward me, its tail wagging with pure joy. It was like a warm welcome to the island, as though the universe sent this furry angel to greet me. The dog’s eyes sparkled with a sense of calm, like it had been waiting for me all along. In moments like these, animals remind us that they’re not just creatures - they’re messengers of peace, love, and connection.

And in that instant, I couldn’t help but feel like it was all a dream - the island, the perfect weather, the blue waters, the sense of wonder in the air. It felt too beautiful to be real. But here I am, living it. This moment, this experience, it’s all unfolding just as it should, and I’m lucky enough to be a part of it.

Isn’t it amazing how life has a way of surprising us with these perfect, unplanned moments?
