This bathroom makeover was mostly cosmetic, but the cabinet paint made one of the biggest differences. I used Sherwin-Williams enamel paint on the vanity and chose the matte finish, but if I were doing it again, I’d choose satin. The matte looks pretty, but it feels a little rough to the touch, and I think satin would give a shinier, more durable finish for a bathroom cabinet. My other cabinet painting tip: use a roller only. No paint brushes. The roller gave me a much smoother finish and helped avoid visible brush marks.
