Oh we’re gonna be active on vacation- it’s laser tag time! This is the same tank from Red Raccoon- it’s phenomenal. I originally got the XL in black, this one is a large and I like the fit better. Christmas in NYC, Day 4: Furs Y’all, faux furs are everywhere in NYC- because they’re warm! We started the day at Central Perk in Times Square which is an absolute must if you love the show Friends. Then…the hardest part of the trip…we had to pack. We tested the limit and strength of the zippers on our luggage. Some things got left behind. Some things got put into other people’s bags to make it work, but we did it! (Some people bought more and had to do it again before we left🤣). Then we went over to Bryant Park to ice skate and back to 5th Ave for more shopping. From there we went back to the hotel to pick up our bags and get ready to head home. Blake had the great idea to do a Secret Santa in our time there, so we exchanged our gifts and it was so fun to choose a souvenir for someone else and to get one in return! #LTKootd #LTKHoliday #LTKTravel
Day 3 we started a little later but still squeezed a lot into the day! We started with Macy’s on 34th Street and went through the market outside there. Then we headed to Hudson Yard to go up to The Edge for an amazing view over Manhattan- the observation deck was closed for high winds but it was still totally worth it! From there we had an appt for perfume creation at Olfactory NYC where Blake and Jennifer created custom scents. We did a quick break at the hotel for an outfit change and then we were back at it- Fifth Ave, the Sak’s light show, Times Square, and another small market area rounded out our evening! #LTKHoliday #LTKTall #LTKootd
Christmas in NYC Day 3: Christmas Plaid/Red I like the subtle plaid touch with the ribbons on this sweater. I only took one pair of jeans to save space so they were worn for 3 days. They’re roomy enough that when I was cold (or needed more space in my life on the way home 😬) I could wear leggings under them for added warmth. My size in the sweater was sold out, so I sized down…but I wish it was longer- tall girl problems! #LTKHoliday #LTKTall #LTKootd

When you have a loft with a spiral staircase, you have to get creative in getting heavy items up to storage. Jason had blocks, we got rope for them, and our system was born! We have a few different kinds of Christmas tree bags, but we only use one kind of storage tote (just have them in different colors). They are heavy duty, have wheels, and a handle on one end for ease in moving and hoisting- plus they stack really well! #LTKFindsUnder50 #LTKHome #LTKOver40
One year I wrangled all 3 boys into my bedroom at my parents’ house on Christmas Eve. Jack and George were barely crawling. I had gotten the 4 of us matching pajamas and told no one. Somehow I managed to get us all dressed (picture herding cats) and at 2 yrs old Henry’s face lit up to see us all dressed the same. This year he has outgrown kids sizes and needs the adult style. As kids get older, things change…but the way I see it that just means the magic I bring to the table needs to change. So buckle up, next year we enter the middle school phase and this aunt is not going to down without a fight 😎🎄 #LTKHoliday #LTKstorytime #LTKKids

Day 3- she rose a little bit, we have bubbles as a sign of fermentation, so the kamut sourdough journey is officially popping off! Thanks to Sourhouse and higher quality flour this time around I can tell she’s off to a much stronger start than my intro to sourdough a couple years ago🎉 Now we just repeat this ever day until she doubles in size on her own! #LTKOver40 #LTKFamily #LTKHome
She’s Starting Y’all! She’s starting a starter. Again. Going in with more knowledge this time, but adding a twist by going with Kamut flour this time. It is an ancient grain that hasn’t been modified, making it easier for our bodies- even those with sensitivities- to digest. The Food Nanny is my Yoda, I’ve learned from her and she is an expert.
