It’s dark outside, the house is quiet and the rest of the family is sleeping…this is my favorite time!

Waking up between 4-4:30am is not easy but it feels more than rewarding once I’m up and got my movement and self care in. You don’t need an expensive gym membership or a full home gym set up to knock out a good workout. I used my adjustable barbell for this whole workout 🏋️‍♀️

As a family of five, we always stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables once a week. This week I already had protein at the house so I did not have to buy much protein but as a rule of thumb, I always stick to 2 to 3 fruits and vegetables and then 2 to 3 proteins per week that my family likes and that my family will eat then I base my meals and my meal prep around those foods. It makes it easy, it does not complicate things, and I’m able to stick to it.

Letting go of Mom guilt.

Mom guilt thrives on the lie that you must be everything, all the time, without ever failing, resting, or choosing yourself. But motherhood was never meant to be a performance measured by perfection - it’s a relationship built on presence, love, and humanity.

You are allowed to be tired.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to say no, to rest, to pursue joy beyond motherhood.
None of that makes you a bad mom - it makes you a whole person.

Your children do not need a flawless version of you. They need a real one. One who shows them that self-worth is not earned through sacrifice alone, and that caring for others does not require abandoning yourself. When you let go of guilt, you give your children permission to do the same in their own lives.

Choosing yourself is not choosing against your children.
Rest is not failure.
Boundaries are not selfishness.
Joy is not something you have to justify.

You are doing enough.
You have always been enough.
And you do not need guilt to prove your love.

Let it go. You’ve carried it long enough.

Let’s stop many meal prep so complicated.

Granted I make what my family likes and NEEDS each week without adding extra fluff or long recipes to my already busy schedule. Grab 2-3 proteins, fruits & vegetables each week. Clean, cut, cook them and then store them. I use @caraway_home containers, they are the best!

And this usually takes me 1.5 hours one day during the week and sets me up for healthy meals the whole week.

This postpartum journey feels different compared to my last two.

Even though my business is growing and busy, I feel grounded and calm this time postpartum. I have the energy to tackle the day, the mom chaos, the endless responsibilities and still make time for myself. And the biggest difference is I get the endless support & motivation from my littles like in this workout. They make it fun and help me push me towards the finish line every time!
